On 6-27-17, The fire company headed over to Broad Street lake in the City of Woodbury to drill on drafting operations.
Crews set up Engine 911 and the members demonstrated competency in the drill. Each member learning how to pull water from the lake thus establishing a water supply.
Drafting: The process of raising water from a static source to supply a fire engine. This type of operation may occur from any type of static water source including lakes, ponds, and portable tanks.
